Slow-worms
The Slow-worm is a legless lizard. Unlike snakes, it has eyelids.
Snakes
When disturbed the Grass Snake is off like a shot, unlike the slow-worm. All these shots were taken within a few seconds, with the camera on auto-advance. Distinguished by its yellow and white collar, the Grass snake is not poisonous.
