Hello All,

No postings in June, your editor together with the chair of the group had a busy month, this also meant that the AGM was held only a few weeks ago.

Thank you to all those members attending. With this hot weather continuing, we have had to put any work parties on hold, for both health reasons, and, because of the fire risk, safety reasons. As soon as the weather cools, and after some rain, we will ask for volunteers to sign up to some dates that most of us can work.

Another issue we have during this hot spell is the watering of the disease resistant Elm sapling that was donated to us by Winchester Rotary. This sapling needs regular watering during this hot weather. If you can help with this, please contact us.

Following the AGM  your editor (and treasurer) is putting out a request for anybody in the group to send in articles, pictures, or both for publishing on this website. This would be wonderful to keep the website up to date and interesting and I would be very grateful for the help in sharing the load.

Editorial help would also be appreciated to achieve more regular postings.
