June 2025

No May update (in no mow May!) I have been away, hence the delay. The heat and the rain have seen a tremendous growth in the vegetation in the wildlife area. We were staggered to see the change after nearly a month away from the site. The sight of all the Ox-eyed Daisies and the Cow Parsley was impressive. The photo below doesn’t really do it justice as the sun just would not come out from under the cloud.

Some scything back of some of the overgrowth is required in the next few weeks, so a work party is in the offing soon, and a  notice will be sent out shortly.

Your support for the Wildlife and Environment Fayre in September would be gratefully appreciated, please contact us via the contact details on the front page.
