First of all, I must thank everybody who turned up for the work party on Saturday 24th February, and we especially welcomed a new face, Richard, who made a great contribution to all the coppicing that we managed to achieve that morning. We are now into March, so that is the end of any tree work until the autumn. . There will be more management of the conservation area in the next few months, but in view of the wet weather of late, it is hard to give a date for the next work party, we will post a note on the website a week beforehand.
